Good morning, afternoon, or evening - wherever you are!
There've been several moderate improvements to this technical demo, one of which was an update to the Godot Engine. You can find more information here if you wish to follow its development.
Change Log:
- Godot (Engine) upgraded from v3.3.3 to v3.4.4. There are too many significant bug fixes and improvements to list here. But a couple of notable differences are that the physics are more consistent, and preventing sliding on slopes is no longer a hack and has been implemented correctly.
- Added attack combos; there's a three-step ground and air attack.
- Added a small test region to the right of the current playable area.
- Adjusted camera zoom by 0.10.
- Adjusted animation speeds to increase perceived responsiveness.
- Miscellaneous code cleanups and adjustments.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where you couldn't transition to the slide state from crouch walking.
Feature List:
- Add ledge grabbing.
- Add wall sliding/jumping.
